India First is a first in more ways than the obvious one. Launched bang in the middle of the noughties, it became the first English-language newsmagazine of Orissa. Although India First has continued to justify its name by focusing on national stories, the magazine also strives to stay true to its roots and features select articles from the eastern Indian state.
 
Having remained exclusively a print media product for half a dozen years, India First finally decided to step into the online world, with the sole purpose of reaching out to an exponentially growing community. And as it did so, the magazine renewed its commitment to reporting objectively and expressing its opinions fearlessly.
